Halloween

Halloween was fairly quiet for us this year.  Elliot carved his pumpkin the weekend before and it was adorable.  Then it was just hanging out at home handing out candy.

Even the dogs dressed up to greet the trick-or-treaters.

I made Halloween stuffed pepperswhite queso, and fruit cups for dinner and they were tasty.  We will repeat all of these recipes as well.

Montana Weekend Getaway

This October my hubby had a long weekend (which almost never happens) so we called up my brother and sister-in-law, booked a cabin, and skirted off to Montana for a weekend getaway!  It rained the majority of the weekend, but we still had a wonderful time.  We played lots of games, visited, ate good food, and of course Elliot got lots of love from his Auntie and Uncle.  He was just getting over his first cold so it meant an inside weekend for him, but it was still lots of fun.  The cabin was great and was right on the river with spacious surroundings and right out of St. Regis so not a bad drive for us.  Hopefully we'll get to stay here again and maybe with more sunshine so we can play on the river.  Here's the photo journey of our weekend.

Train right by the cabin, it was fun to see and hear the trains go by all weekend
